A remarkable building
From Gothic to RenaissanceThis church, built in the late 12th century, has undergone several remodels and features a wide variety of styles, including a 13th-century Radiant Gothic choir, a Flamboyant Gothic nave and a Renaissance front built in the 16th century.
In the Rosary Tower, a superb Bas-relief Tree of Jesse, bears the date 1593. A chapel houses a remarkable sculpture depicting a transi. This is a decomposed corpse carved in high-relief around 1530. Paintings and beautiful stained-glass windows add to the interest of visiting this splendid church, which contains numerous chapels.
