Description
Listed in its entirety as a historic monument, the Manoir de Vaux is a rare example of a fortified house whose origins date back to the 12th century. Comprising a main house, a chapel, outbuildings, and four round towers, this fortified manor estate spans more than 9 hectares in the heart of nature, along the Avenue Verte and just 5 minutes from the center of Gisors.
This exceptional site is home to a contemporary art space featuring a permanent exhibition of a significant collection of works by Dado, spread over 400 m². Regarded by his peers as one of the greatest visual artists of the 20th century, his work is now featured in the collections of the world’s leading museums.
The site also includes an open space for temporary exhibitions and the chapel selected by the Bern 2025 mission, which is open to visitors.
