Looking for a break?

Are you thirsty and in the mood for a break? If you’re also a fan of secondhand goods or vintage vehicles, here’s a must-visit address! Just 100 m from the Voie Verte parking lot, Les Puces du Moulin is a veritable goldmine for “country chic”, “indus” and vintage bargains. Their annex dedicated to vintage vehicles welcomes you with a bar at weekends.

As its name suggests, this site is a former mill. If you’re an inveterate bargain hunter, start your stroll along the greenway by parking your car in this dedicated parking lot. You’ll only have to walk 500 m to reach the brocante parking lot, and you can bring your finds back in the boot of your car, if your bikes travel on bike carriers.

Arrival at Château-sur-Epte

The medieval site of Châteauneuf-sur-Epte dominates an imposing hilltop that you’ll see from the voie verte.
If you’re not afraid of taking on this hilltop fortress, you’ll get a closer look at this fortified castle built in the 11th c. by Guillaume Le Roux.

Bought by an association of enthusiasts, it is currently undergoing extensive restoration work by volunteers. It is open to groups by appointment.
At the center of the village, La Planche Normande restaurant welcomes you for a well-deserved gourmet break in the heart of the village (Tuesday to Sunday inclusive).
Their generous cuisine will satiate even the hungriest of appetites!
