Compagnie Käfig - Mourad Merzouki Suspended, lifted, or acrobatic, ten dancers from Compagnie Käfig move between ground, walls, and air. True to his penchant for crossing disciplines, choreographer Mourad Merzouki transforms the codes of hip-hop into an aerial experience, conceived in collaboration with Fabrice Guillot, a high-level climber and founder of the vertical dance company Retouramont. The dancers intertwine these two seemingly opposing movements, towards the earth and towards the sky, to explore new dimensions. An unclassifiable piece, somewhere between dance and acrobatics.
