Description
Looking for a relaxing and enriching family outing? This summer, the Mother-of-Pearl and Comb-Making Museum in Méru invites you to enjoy its Free Fridays! Every Friday afternoon, in addition to the scheduled shows, the museum comes alive with spontaneous guided tours, activities, and demonstrations showcasing its unique crafts. A wonderful opportunity to (re)discover the museum for free in a lively and friendly atmosphere. Let yourself be swept away by "The Heroines Tell Their Stories," a family event blending theatrical storytelling, imagination, and creativity. Through two reimagined classics, two actresses invite young and old to journey into worlds rich in emotion. Immerse yourself in the fantasy and humor of Alice in Wonderland, with its surprising encounters and boundless imagination, then discover a sensitive and hopeful adaptation of The Little Match Girl, the famous Andersen tale. Through theatrical performance, storytelling, and interaction with the children, the stories come to life before their eyes, becoming a truly shared experience. To extend this enchanting interlude, the artists also offer participatory workshops: origami using objects and characters from the tales, introductions to theater and oral expression, songs… These activities are designed to develop children's creativity and ensure they leave with a colorful and festive memory of this encounter. It's a gathering where stories are told, experienced, and created together in a joyful and welcoming atmosphere.
