Description

Looking for a relaxing and enriching family outing? This summer, the Mother-of-Pearl and Button-Making Museum in Méru invites you to enjoy its free Fridays! Every Friday afternoon, in addition to the scheduled shows, the museum comes alive with spontaneous guided tours, activities, and demonstrations showcasing its unique crafts. A wonderful opportunity to (re)discover the museum for free in a lively and friendly atmosphere. Embark on a true journey through time with La Java de Pétronille. This duo, from the Lille-based musette dance group Le Beau Milo, revisits the great Parisian songs of the first half of the 20th century with elegance and authenticity. Inspired by the iconic voices of Fréhel, Lucienne Delyle, and Rina Ketty, the duo brings to life a whole chapter of French musical heritage through sung stories full of emotion and character. Led by the voice of Clémentine Godbille and the warm sounds of Étienne Boulanger's diatonic accordion, this musical interlude immerses you in the atmosphere of popular dances and the streets of Paris of yesteryear. A moment imbued with nostalgia, poetry, and conviviality, to be shared with family or friends.
