The Green Way
This greenway runs along the superb Epte Valley, the former border between Normandy and the Kingdom of France. The Epte is the river that marks the boundary between the Norman Vexin and the French Vexin. Ideal for cycling tourism, the Epte valley greenway is also a good idea for starting a cycling tour, on an easy route enhanced by beautiful natural landscapes and without cars, along the Epte. It forms part of the route of the Avenue Verte London – Paris and is perfect for a gentle warm-up! The surface of this route is suitable for all types of cycles.
It’s also very pleasant on foot for a family stroll, and joggers also enjoy relaxing here.
The Epte valley is dotted with castles, medieval remains, mills and meadows.
It’s possible to cycle to Giverny from Gisors on the greenway to Gasny, then for a few kilometers on small roads from Gasny to Giverny.
DON’T MISS
