Inauguration "Chevaliers, princesses et jeux d'antan"

Inaugural day of Mortemer Abbey's seasonal entertainment: "Knights, Princesses, and Games of Yesteryear." Featuring fencing master Eric and his troupe, who will train young and old in sword fighting. During this inaugural day and throughout the season, Mortemer Abbey is offering a new, fun activity for the whole family with a medieval village. Transport yourself to medieval times and live like Princesses and Knights for an afternoon. Everyone can come in costume or dress up on site with loaner medieval costumes that will be available in the king's tent. Real foam replicas of swords and shields will allow the valiant knights to fight for their noble cause. Wooden games of skill and dexterity will also allow them to demonstrate their dexterity. Balance on the beam, the cotton bud beam, tug of war, the bridge of death, the 20 m zip line, the archery and crossbow shooting range in the mill and many giant wooden games such as the frog game, skittles, Dutch billiards, checkers, shuffleboard, hoops and goose games will be available.
